TOP Streaming Service

About the Streaming serivice

A streaming media service (also simply called a streaming service) is an online platform that allows users to watch or listen to content, such as movies, TV shows, music, or podcasts, over the internet. Instead of downloading the content to their device, users can stream it in real-time, which means they can start watching or listening immediately without having to wait for the entire file to download. Popular examples of streaming services include Netflix, Spotify, and YouTube.

Challenge

The primary challenge was to boost engagement with Show-related content, increase viewership on the platform, and, as a result, grow platfrom subscriptions and customer retention. The campaign aimed to leverage pre-launch and launch activities on Meta and TikTok to create buzz and anticipation for the show.

Solution

To generate excitement for the show around the Christmas season, we implemented a comprehensive pre-launch strategy that set the stage for outstanding results during the actual launch.

  • For the pre-launch phase, Top-View ads with Shake surprise were deployed to garner maximum visibility. Alongside a phased release of assets like cast reveals and BTS moments on Meta and TikTok.

  • The launch strategy emphasized boosting organic assets for their native appeal and utilizing Countdown and Follower sticker ads on TikTok to promote a live stream event.

  • A unified CTA across platforms urged viewership on the platform, leveraging both organic and paid efforts for broader reach.

Results

The campaign set a benchmark by being the first to introduce Top-View ads leading directly to a feed post - in our case showing a piece of the first episode of the show. This pioneering approach resulted in a +117% Ad recall lift, -50% reduction in CPE, and an increase in ER, reaching +23%. The campaign was extraordinarily successful in increasing engagement, viewership and followers, as well as ultimately driving significant growth in platform subscriptions.
